Bridge House Tavern

Bridge House Tavern Chicago

I joined some friends of friends yesterday for lunch before Lollapalooza. We went to Bridge House Taven. It is on the north side of the river in Chicago between Clark and Dearborn. You can access it through both streets. The official address is 314 N Clark. Since it is on the river, boats can dock and take a ladder and step down into the restaurant. While we were there,  two boats pulled up and we saw someone get out and get some lunch.

Tito's Vodka with cranberry and pineapple
I had the bartender make me a vodka, cranberry and pineapple. It was a perfect choice for a nice drink at the outside bar.  I ordered the Chicken Salad sandwich with tots below. It was great for $13, but it does contain nuts. Since we were here on a Friday, there was no brunch menu and no eggs. This was difficult for one of my friends because he is vegetarian and would have wanted some protein before a day at Lollapaloooza. The only other dish for him was the grilled cheese or a salad without meat.
